Land and ownership in Thailand
There is a lot of room for misunderstanding around the Thai land title system. This is due to the sheer number of different types of land title, who is allowed to own or have rights of possession to the various types of land, and also the units of measurement. There is also the much discussed topic of whether foreigners are able to own or possess land or property and under what circumstances. Adding to the potential confusion is the matter of the process of buying land in Thailand.
